VOLUNTEERISM at the TOTAL LIVING CENTER (TLC) Volunteering is a noble and sacred adventure. Faithful and devoted volunteers are absolutely essential to the success of any worthwhile endeavor or movement. It is an absolute fact that no one leader can do everything needed for a successful ministry. Even Moses came to this conclusion. "And I spake unto you at that time, saying, I am not able to bear you myself alone." Deuteronomy 1:9 We seek to stress the following points for the volunteers at the TLC. They are important facets of the lifestyle of a meaningful experience for the volunteer and the TLC.
The TLC could not exist without the many, many volunteers we have, and have had, over the years. The day will never come when we will NOT need many, many volunteers. In fact, the need for them increases weekly. Below is a list of several areas in which we have need of volunteers. Perhaps one of the areas will appeal to you, and you will be led to respond in a positive way to the challenge. We list the opportunities as a volunteer in alphabetical order, and we do this for a couple of reasons. 1. It makes it easy to locate an area of special interest and a brief statement concerning it. 2. It is a way for us to convey the fact no area is more sacred or noble than any other area. They are all important. PLEASE NOTE - PLEASE NOTE! We are listing all the volunteer areas at the TLC. In so doing, we are not seeking in any way to diminish the efforts of our present volunteers, nor to even hint they should not continue to serve in their area of choice.
