TLC Free Soup Kitchen		The TLC Soup Kitchen officially opened June 16, 1992. No one of the poor community came to the first meal. Thirty-five volunteers were assembled to serve others and no one showed. However, the next week there were 44 present and the numbers have continued to climb ever since.
The Soup Kitchen meal is served each Tuesday at 4:30 PM. It is preceded by a Worship Service of healing at 3:30. An individual is not required to attend worship to receive the meal or groceries. Worship is strictly a volunteer matter. In Pastor Bartow’s book, "Yes, Virginia, There Is A God Who Heals Today", there is a detailed presentation of how the Soup Kitchen got started.
