It is obvious the Total Living Center ministry is not a couple of hours of Sunday morning involvement. It is an every day ministry church at both our Headquarters and Fairmount Park Branch. Yes, we have 21 worship services a month, but we do not major in services. We major in service. Many who believe “in” God go to church as their expected duty. However, we feel if you really “believe” God you will go into the world preaching the Gospel to the poor, and tangibly helping the sick and the needy. The TLC is an immense ministry, and many individuals are needed to make this possible. We thank God for them, and continue to pray for laborers to labor in the fields white unto harvest.

TLC NINTH STREET HEADQUARTERS

SUNDAY AT HEADQUARTERS

8:00 am - Start to prepare the meal and to pack the groceries to be given away after service.

9:00 am – Set the tables for a hundred or more for after worship dinner.

10:30 – Worship Service – We invite one and all to attend. If you are a supporter of the TLC, it would be wonderful to have you worship with us some Sunday. Come and bring the family.

11:00 – Children’s church while adults continue in the worship service.

11:30 – Dinner for all who have worshipped with us.

11:45 – Begin to pass out groceries to all families desiring them. We give away a huge amount to every family. This includes meat that has been cooked throughout the week.

MONDAY AT HEADQUARTERS

6:30 am – Our truck leaves for Akron/Canton Regional Food Bank to get groceries.

8:00 am – Unload the groceries from the truck.

9:00 am – Begin to clean the social hall, sanctuary, bathrooms, etc.

10:00 am – Start to cook 6 or more roasting pans of meat to be given away Wednesday night.

Noon – Lunch for the volunteers

TUESDAY AT HEADQUARTERS

6:30 am – Truck leaves for Akron/Canton Regional Food Bank to get groceries.

8:00 am – FREE Medical Clinic opens

8:00 am – FREE Physical Therapy Clinic

8:00 am -  FREE Pharmacy opens.

9:00 am – Begin bagging groceries to be given away at 4:30pm.

9:00 am – Begin the meal preparation and table setting for the noon luncheon for the volunteers and for the 4:30 pm meal.

11:00 am to 3:00 pm – FREE Clothing room open

Noon – Lunch for the many volunteers

12:01 pm – FREE Chiropractic Clinic the first and Third Tuesday.

3:15 pm – Begin registration for the grocery give away

3:45 pm – Worship Service

4:30 pm – Hot Meal served at our Manna House Soup Kitchen

4:30 pm – We begin to give away bags of groceries

WEDNESDAY AT HEADQUARTERS

9:00 am – begin bagging groceries to be given away tonight

9:00 am – begin preparation for the 6:20 pm meal

10:00 am – preparation of tables for the meal and wrapping of the desserts

11:00 am to 3:00 pm - FREE Clothing room is open

Noon – Lunch for the volunteers

5:45 pm – Bible Study

6:20 pm – Evening meal. We seek to teach that our eating together is a time of Christian fellowship. We climax the meal with the Holy Communion each Wednesday night at the Healing Service.

7:00 pm – Spiritual Healing Service

7:00 pm – Children’s program with leadership from the New Grounds Café of Sugarcreek.

At the end of Healing Service – We give away groceries to any family desiring them.

 THURSDAY AT HEADQUARTERS

8:00 am  - FREE Medical Clinic opens

8:00 am – FREE Physical Therapy Clinic  opens

9:00 – Begin cooking meat to be given away Sunday

SPECIAL ON THE THIRD THUSDAY

8:00 am – Semi-trailer full of groceries arrives

8:00 am – Begin unloading the Semi and bagging groceries to be given away

11:45 am – Registration for grocery give away begins

Noon – Worship service begins

Noon – Lunch for volunteers

12:30 pm – Begin giving away groceries

FRIDAY AT HEADQUARTERS

9:00 AM – Put out meat to be cooked to be given away Sunday

10:00 am to 2:00 pm – “God’s Little Helpers” - Sewing Club for women and men

11:30 – Lunch for volunteers

SATURDAY AT HEADQUARTERS

9:00 AM – Start cooking meat for the meal Sunday morning

Special Events – Baby Shower, Barbecue, etc.

SPECIAL SERVICES AND MINISTRIES AT TLC HEADQUARTERS

Mowing - During the summer TLC volunteers mow a number of the vacant lots near our Headquarters.

TLC Garden – Cared for by individuals of the Community.

Annual Vacation Bible School 6:00 to 8:00 pm – Classes

Baby Showers – Twice per year. We have 12 to 20 expecting mothers present for each of these events.

Annual Ladies Tea – 10:00 am to 2:00 pm – Date to be announced

Annual Summer Barbecue – 10:00 am to 2:00 pm – Date to be announced
