            Thank you for your inquiry concerning the financial aspects of the Total Living Center. We provide financial information to those seeking it, and also information concerning the implementation of the mission of the TLC.      

            In the business world, a company or corporation presenting an offering and seeking investors must present a "Prospectus." The dictionary explains a Prospectus as "an official document giving details about something that is going to happen, e.g., a stock offering, a forthcoming publication, a new business, or a proposed project."

OFFERING:

            In line with the language of a Prospectus, the TLC is continually promoting an "offering." Our offering is Spiritual Stock invested in the lives of the sick and the poor. Your TLC prayer and financial investment reaps dividends from this Spiritual Stock which provides resources and power to help the sick and the poor through:

INVESTORS:

            The TLC is constantly seeking new investors in its ventures. We always have projects, new areas of concern, and of course on-going ministries that will never lose their significance in the lives of the ill and the poor.

LOAN TO GOD:

            The TLC looks upon the financial investment of contributors as a "loan" to God. Proverbs 19:17 supports this concept. "He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the Lord; and that which he hath given will he pay him again."

UNIQUENESS:

            We believe there is an uniqueness about the TLC that makes it a fruitful ministry in which to invest. Some of the areas of uniqueness are:

1.      We feel the TLC is a bridge over which those who have much may walk meaningfully into the lives of those who little.

2.      The TLC does not simply teach about Jesus and other aspects of the Bible, but we seek to pursue the lifestyle of Jesus of healing the sick and helping the poor. We believe there is more to learning the Bible than intellectual knowledge. We believe you learn the Bible by seeking to live as it teaches us to live.

3.      We believe those who invest prayers and finances in the TLC reap the rewards of the victories of the TLC in the lives of the sick and the poor.

4.      We believe the TLC should set the pace to help individuals to know, understand, and live as Christians. Like the Apostle Paul, we want to be able to say that what you see done at the TLC you should do. Prayerfully consider Philippians 4:9 "Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you." To us the important word in this verse is do. We sincerely believe every believer should "do" as Jesus did and seek to heal the sick and help the poor.

5.       We believe all individuals are needy. They may be divided into two main groups. The first needy group is comprised of those who have very little and are in need of some of the necessities of life. The second needy group are those who have much and need to give to help others. The Bible speaks candidly and powerfully to this group, and lets them know they must share their wealth.

6.      The TLC has a great deal of written material that presents its history, its theological and biblical positions, biblically sound, and practical ways of implementing the Christian faith seeking to heal the sick and help the poor in the Name of Jesus..

HISTORY:

            The TLC is a ministry of long standing. It was initially established in 1983 as a non-profit faith ministry called the Spiritual Healing Ministry. The prime emphasis was to heal the sick. Through the years we were led to be intimately involved in helping the poor, and in 1997 the name of our ministry was officially changed to The Total Living Center Ministries, Inc.
