Prayer 1
I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. (Psalm 34:1)

Father, You have invited me to bless Your holy Name. You have given to me the desire to do so. You have taught me in Your Word that it is to my benefit to do so. I thank You that I can bless Your Name. I thank You that I can bless Your Name at all times. I can bless Your Name,

  • when I am happy,
  • when I am feeling good,
  • when I am sad,
  • when I am depressed,
  • when I am dejected,
  • when I am not feeling well,
  • when I am sick,
  • when I am broke,
  • when I am in debt,
  • when I am at home,
  • when I am away from home,
  • when I am in a crowd,
  • when I am alone,
  • when I am praying,
  • when I am driving,
  • when I am resting,when I am talking,
  • when I am walking,
  • when I am talking on the phone,
  • when I am in the sanctuary,
  • when I am taking out the garbage,
  • when I am retiring for the night,
  • when I am arising in the morning,
  • when I am sleeping,
  • when I am writing,
  • when I am hassled by others,
  • when I am praising You,
  • when I am meditating.

Yes, Father, I bless Your Name wherever I am and in whatever I am doing. My praise of You is not only in my mind, but in my heart, and in my emotions. My praise of You is also in my mouth. My lips speak forth Your praise. I bless Your Name with my words of praise.

Prayer 2
My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. (Psalm 34:2)

Thank You, Father, for setting me free to boast in You. I have no cause to boast in and of myself. I have much cause to boast in You. Thank You that I can boast, even though there will be those who may think I am boasting in the flesh. I realize, Father, their lack of understanding should not lead me to a lack of praise. I know, that You know, my boast is in You. Blessed be Your Name for ever. Your other humble servants are made glad when I boast of Your goodness and mercy. They rejoice with me. They do not ridicule me. They hear You speaking to them through my witness of Your blessings.

Prayer 3
O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together. (Psalm 34:3)

Father, I truly want to magnify Your holy Name forever. I seek to do this in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Prayer 4
By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. (Hebrews 13:15)

Father, it is my desire to sacrifice as you want me to sacrifice. Therefore, I praise your holy Name not only when things are going well, but I do so when things are going bad. I praise you each and every day of my life and to the best of my ability, Father, I want to praise You every second of my day. In my words, actions, and thoughts I am grateful I can continually praise You.

Prayer 5
Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses. He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing.  (Psalm 107:19-22)

Father, thank You that I can cry out to You in my distress. Troubles may be all around me, but You are around me even more and praise Your Holy Name, You are even within me. You are the one who delivers me and I give You my praise. Lord, I praise Your name that You have healed me. You have sent Your Word through inspired men of old. Thank You that I can read and meditate upon Your Word. It is indeed food to my soul. Thank You for Your Son Jesus, the Living Word, whom You have sent into the world. He is my Great Physician and I praise You for Him. Hallelujah. My prayer Father is that all would praise Thy holy Name. Your blessings continue to flow abundantly and for this I give You glory and honor. You watch over every facet of my days in love, in service, in finances, and in health. Your wonderful works are evident on every hand. They speak of Your goodness and mercy and I praise You for revealing Your love through the events of our life. Father, thank You that I don t have to search for things to sacrifice to You. You have invited me to offer the sacrifice of praise. I thank You, I can praise You with my lips and with my heart. I can praise You in secret and I can praise You public. I can praise You in all of my activities. I can praise You just prior to going to sleep at night and when I first awaken in the morning. Please accept my sacrifices of praise and bless me abundantly to Your glory and to my good.

Prayer 6
And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great. And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.
(Revelation 19:5-6)

Father, as I continue to praise You I am thrilled that praise unto You will last throughout all eternity. What a blessed hope I have that some day I will join others in praise around Your throne. I stand in awe of Your majesty and join the small and the great, the famous and the unknowns, the rich and the poor, who worship You and the glory of Your Holy Name. Father it practically boggles my mind when I try to conceive how great is the multitude praising You around Your throne. I can hardly grasp that there are so many voices it sounds like rushing mighty waters. And Father, I believe Your Word and the revelation that a countless multitude will be praising You forever and ever. Praise Jesus, I am a part of that throng. Thank You for the confidence I can have that You truly are the One who reigneth with power and glory, dominion and honor, forever. Alleluia, Alleluia, ALLELUIA, AMEN!
