Prayer 1
For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off. It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it. (Deuteronomy 30:11-14

Heavenly Father, how I thank You that Your commandment to hearken to Your voice is so near. Your call to me is not distant, but near. You are closer than my hands, or my feet, or any other organ of my body. You are even closer than my breathing, for you are within me as the breath of life. Your desires are not kept hidden in the heavens, but have been fully, adequately, and beautifully revealed to us here on planet earth. Thank You Father, that You have not kept Your choice blessings and sacred ways a secret. You have not hidden them, but flung them out in plain view of all who are willing to look and understand. Your blessings and witness are not kept hidden in the heavens or the innermost parts of the earth. Your will is evident and available for me to know here and now. Father, I praise Your Name that You have revealed the message of hope. It is not a vague hidden promise of pie in the sky when I die, but of blessings available to me right now. It was when I wandered in sin and neglected You, Father, that I felt You could only be found in some strange, distant, or exotic place. Thank You for revealing to me that You are within me and around me. Unworthy though I may be, You constantly reach out to bless me abundantly. You have come to me in a very special way through Your Son, the Lord Jesus. I am so grateful that You are not a God far from me, but a Father Who is right here with me. This truth leads me to praise You more all the time.

Thank You, Father, for putting Your Word in my mouth. It is not simply a deep, dark secret of the heart. It has become a joyous expression of my mouth. O yes, Father, You are in my heart, deep within my heart, but Your presence becomes even more intimate when I speak Your praises with my lips. Father, when I become lonely or cast down, help me to again realize Your presence is with me. Even in my desolate moments help me to speak the truth that You are very near. Help me to understand when I feel estranged from You that You have not forsaken me. Help me to realize I am basing my insights upon feelings and that my feelings are not trustworthy. I want to praise Your Name and to verbalize my love for You even during those times when I don't "feel" like doing it. It is by faith that I speak forth Your praise at all times. Thank You for giving to me the courage to do so. Your Word is nigh, even in my mouth. This I acknowledge by faith and experience it in my spirit. I speak forth Your Word in the Name of Jesus Christ my Lord. Father, Your presence with me is so desired on my part, and I rejoice You have told me through Your Word that You are always with me. Your living and powerful Word is a light unto my path in the darkest hours of life. I quiet my spirit now to let Your Word become more real to me.

Prayer 2
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. (Matthew 28:18-20)

Lord Jesus thank You for Your steadfast promise that You will always be with me. You will never depart to some strange, distant, or exotic place. Thank You for revealing in Your Word that You are with me always. You are not only with me, but in me. I realize I am so unworthy, but Thou art Worthy, oh Lord. You constantly reach out to me to bless me abundantly. You come to me in a very special way, wherever I may be. Jesus, I am so grateful You are so near. You never forsake me. You will never leave me dangling in the pit of doubt and frustration. Your presence is my hope and stay. The realization of this truth helps me to praise You more all the time. It enables me to truly feel Your presence as well as to accept Your presence by faith.

Prayer 3
With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments. Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments are righteousness. (Psalm 119:10, 11, 89, 105, 172)

Father, thank You for Your Word which You put deep within my heart. But it is not only in my heart, but in my mouth. Your Word is not some deep dark secret, but is revealed so plainly, as I thirst after and seek Your presence and righteousness. O yes, Father, You are in my heart, deep within my heart, but Your presence becomes even more intimate when I speak Your Word of praise with my lips. Father, when I become lonely or cast down, help me to again go to Your Word and to realize Your presence is constant and complete. Even if desolate moments should come, help me to not only believe but to speak the truth that You are very near. Father, I know Your Word will help me to understand that even though I might feel estranged from You that You have not forsaken me. Father, help me to know that I should not base the reality of Your presence on my feelings, but upon Your Word. Your Word is much more trustworthy than my feelings. Precious Father, I want to praise Your Name and to verbalize my love for You even during those times when I don t feel like doing it. It is by faith that I speak forth Your praise at all times. Thank You for giving to me the desire and courage to do so. Praise Your holy name forever and forever.

Prayer 4
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love. (Ephesians 1:3,4)

Father, thank You that Your spiritual blessings coming from the heavenly places in Christ Jesus are with me. You have chosen me for blessings. Your choice did not happen yesterday or today, but from the very foundation of the world. This truth helps me to understand Father that I am holy and without blame in Your presence. You make this possible Father through Your Son the Lord Jesus Christ in whom I live, move, and have my being. And You make this possible Father that I might be blessed. Truly, You have no need of anything. Your desire is to bless Your children, and to bestow upon me and all others blessings abundant. And Father, You want Your presence to be so real to us that we need never doubt, but in the midst of all things to be sustained by the reality of Your being right with us.

Prayer 5
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. (Ephesians 3:20-21)

Father, the reality of Your presence is within me. Because of Your presence far more than I could ever dream comes to me and mine. Thank You Father, that as I have given myself unto You that You do exceedingly abundantly in my life. I confess it is not on my own power, but according to Your power that works in me. Your presence enables power to issue forth continuously. It is for this reason that I am led to praise You at all times. Truly Father, I am humbled when I realize I am a part of Your church. I am in Christ Jesus and Your Son Christ Jesus is in me. He is the head and I am part of the body of Your glorious church. Thus, Father You are always with me and I am ever in Your presence. You are all I need. And Father thank You that the sun never sets upon Your church. Your church is all over this globe, and You smile upon Your church. I am so grateful that You bless Your church, and I can be a part of Your church. Thank You Father that You have all that Your church will ever need, and all that I will ever need.

Prayer 6
Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
Colossians 1:12-14

Father, to You I give thanks that Your Presence with me entitles me to be a partaker of the inheritance laid up by You for all believers. This inheritance, Father, is for those who live and walk in the light of Your presence. Thank You that I have been delivered from the power of darkness. It has no dominion over me. I am part of the kingdom of Your dear Son. Thank You for the redemption which is mine, in and through Him. The forgiveness of my sins have led me to know that I have been brought into Your holy presence. The forgiveness of my sins removes the sin which separates me from You and I have experienced Your love which draws me nigh unto You. And Father, I have been transformed, I have been changed, I have been delivered from darkness into light. Thank You Father for the blessedness of Your presence.

Prayer 7
But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee. (Isaiah 43:1,2,3)

Your Word reveals that You have called me by name and that my name is written in the Lamb' s book of life. Thank You Father that regardless of the rough waters through which I may flow and through which I must go, that You are with me. Whatever rivers need to be crossed, I will never cross them alone. Whatever fire I might have to go through, I won' t go through myself, You are there. Father, thank You for Your Word through the prophet, Isaiah, which shows me Your everlasting and never failing love. You are the one who has redeemed me. You are the one who has called me. You are the one who has claimed me for Your own. Thus, You are always with me. I am always in Your presence, not because of me, but because of You. Father, all the afflictions the world can bring upon me cannot separate me from Your presence. You are with me through the fire, the wind, the earthquake. I am safe in Your presence. Thank You for being my Saviour. Your Word is alive in me as it was in Isaiah. Praise Your name.

Prayer 8
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
 (Romans 8:38,39)

Father, in Your presence is security. It is in Your presence that my protection is so complete and final that nothing can come between You and me. Nothing, absolutely nothing can separate me and You. I rest in the assurance of this reality. In Your presence is truly the real world. The real world is not all the things which surround me and seek to defeat me. The real world is You and all that is spiritual. The real world is the place from whence I came and will never be removed. The real world is You, Father. Thank You that Your presence and power is the reality of my knowledge and experience. Thank You for being with me now and forever and ever and ever and ever.
